Comments
Leave review notes on your text without touching the LaTeX.
Comments attach to a passage of text and live outside your source files, in
.polemic/comments.json. Your .tex files stay free of review notes.
Each comment has a category, shown as a colored bar in the editor gutter:

| Change needed | Something to rewrite or fix |
| Source needed | A claim that needs a citation |
| Question | Something to find out or discuss |
| Wording | Phrasing to improve |
| Verify | A fact or number to double-check |
| Note | Anything else |
Click a bar to open the comment. The Comments tab in the right rail lists them all; resolved comments fade but stay available. Comments follow their text when you edit around them.
